Reinstalling the Front Light Electronics Left (FLEL)

Removing control unit for the Frontal Light Electronics Left (FLEL) 

• Loosen screws (1).
• Pull the Front Light Electronics (2) control unit out of the headlights.

• Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
• Remove the Front Light Electronics (2) control unit.

  Installing the control unit for the Front Light Electronics Left (FLEL) 

• Check the seal (3) on the control unit for the Front Light Electronics (2) for damage and replace if necessary.
• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

  Check 

• After locking: The plug connection must be checked for correct, firm fit.

Result 

» The firm fit is not correct.

Measure

• Disconnect the connectors and check the locking mechanism for mechanical damage.

Measure

• Replace the damaged plug components.

Measure

• Fit, insert and lock the connector at a right angle to the direction of insertion.

Measure

• Check correct firm fit again.

• Position the control unit for the front light electronics (2) in the headlight.
• Tighten down screws (1).
