Take engine out of installation orientation

• Lower engine by turning the spindle 2 361 506 (00 6 103) until the engine rests completely on the engine mounts.

• Remove the engine bridge (1) with the help from another person.

  Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
• Carefully guide out and remove special tools 0 496 437 (00 6 052)  and 0 496 438 (00 6 053). 
• Remove the engine bridge.

• Loosen the screws (1) from the special tool 2 459 012. 
• Guide the special tool 2 459 012 out and remove.

• Tighten screw (1) of the engine mount, right, using standard tool, from above.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Engine mount to engine support bracket
  M12	Tightening torque	100 Nm

• Prepare special tool 0 493 751 (11 9 150) as shown.

• Tighten the screw of the left engine mount from the bottom with the special tool 0 493 751 (11 9 150).

• Install the reinforcement strut (2).
• Tighten down screw (1).
