Removing the engine from the installation position
- Lower engine by turning the spindle 2 361 506 (00 6 103)
until the engine lies completely on the engine supports.
- Pull out the special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020)
on the engine mounting brackets (1) and set aside.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person. - Remove the engine bridge (1) with a support person.
- Tighten the screw (1) of the engine mount on the right
with a standard tool from the top.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Engine mount to engine support bracket M12 Tightening torque 100 Nm - Prepare special tool 0 493 751 (11 9150)
as shown.
- Tighten the screw of the engine mount on the left
with the special tool 0 493 751 (11 9 150)
from the bottom.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Engine mount to engine support bracket M12 Tightening torque 100 Nm - Feed in the reinforcement strut (2) and install it.
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Reinforcement strut to front subframe M12x25 Tightening torque 108 Nm - Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Reinforcement strut to engine mount M12x120 Tightening torque 108 Nm - Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear top cross connection to wheel arch carrier support M10x35 screw Tightening torque 56 Nm - Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear top cross connection to wheel arch carrier support M10x35 screw Tightening torque 56 Nm - Feed in and install the tank ventilation line (2).
The lock (1) must engage audibly.
- Secure the tank ventilation line (2) to the clamp (3).
