Remove the decorative strip on the right dashboard

Precondition 

• The steering wheel is adjusted downwards all the way back.

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE KOMBI TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE SIDE PANEL ON THE RIGHT DASHBOARD .

• Release the screws (1) at side on the decorative strip (2).

• Loosen screw (1).
• Carefully unclip the decorative strip (2) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) from the clamps (3).
• Lift up the decorative strip (2) and detach the plug connections behind it.
• Remove decorative strip (2).
