Remove the side trim panel in the footwell at the left A-pillar

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING FRONT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM .

• Pull the hood release lever (1) to the rear.
• Lever out the locking mechanism (2).
• Remove the hood release lever (1) to the inside.

• Loosen screw (1).
• Loosen expanding rivet (2).
• Release the side trim panel (3) at the clips (4) and remove it toward the inside.
