Installing the air dam

Position the air dam (1) correctly on the bumper cover and connect it.

Open the special tool 2 232 316 at the lever (1).
The closed state is shown.

Position the special tool 2 232 316 as shown on to the air dam and close at the lever (1)
Pull the special tool 2 232 316 along the air dam.

Check
- Check whether the air dam (1) lies seamlessly on the bumper cover (2) as shown.

Result

» The air dam (1) does not lie seamlessly on the bumper cover (2).

Measure
- Pull the special tool 2 232 316 one more time along the air dam.

Tighten the screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Undershield/frame
Hexagon screw	Tightening torque	3 Nm
