Installing the tailgate seal

Remove sealant residue from the sheet metal flange.
Clean the sheet metal flange with solvent cleaner R2.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Cleaning agent R2 500 ml 83190417324
Replace tailgate seal (1).
Parts: Tailgate seal
Mount tailgate seal (1), starting from the center at the top.
Ensure that tailgate seal (1) rests correctly on all the adjacent trim panel components.
Check
Check the closing function of the trunk lid.

» The trunk lid does not close correctly.

Measure
Ensure that tailgate seal (1) rests correctly on all the adjacent trim panel components.
