Replacing the driven shaft or circlip

If the driven shaft is reused, the circlip must be replaced.

Extreme force being required during installation is an indication that the component is damaged or deformed.
Check component and replace if necessary.

- Check the gearing of the output shaft for damage and replace damaged parts if necessary.
- Check dust plate (1) for damage and, if necessary, replace the damaged parts.
- If the driven shaft is reused, then replace the circlip (3)

- Coat contact surface (2)
with an approved front axle differential oil.
