Installing the door sill cover strip on the rear left and right
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Install the rear door sill cover strip
NOTE:

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Version A with basic seat:
- Remove the clips (1) remaining in the body and mount them on the door sill cover strip (3).
- Check if the clips (1) and the guide (2) are damaged and if available.
The clips (1) and the guide (2) must not be damaged or missing.
- Version A with basic seat:
- Position the rear door sill cover strip (2) on the body.
- Engage rear door sill cover strip (2) on the clips (3).
- Tighten down screws (1).

Installing the illuminated sill trim on the rear door sill

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.
NOTE:

- Check the detents (2) for damage, if necessary replace the illuminated sill trim (1).
- Mount the illuminated sill trim (1) and connect and lock the connector while doing so.
- Position the illuminated sill trim (1) and lock at the detents (2).
