Mounting the rear door weather strip

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

Hang the rear door weather strip (1) over the door with the open lip facing inwards.
Sealing joint in area (A) position.

Glue the rear door weather strip (1) as follows:

Gradually detach protective film
Align seal (1) to match the specified dimension (X) or template and press on lightly
Check the position of the rear door weather strip (1) and correct if necessary
Do not overstretch or compress the rear door weather strip (1) when positioning it
Maximum permissible sag of the rear door weather strip (1) during the positioning process is 30 mm
Always apply pressure perpendicular to the bonding surface to affix the rear door weather strip (1)

Affix rear door weather strip (1) with firm thumb pressure

D	5 mm

Create a sealing joint in area (A), and shorten the rear door weather strip (1) accordingly as needed.
Position the rear door weather strip (1) along the template (3):
The edge of the rear door weather strip (1) is flush with the mark (4) of the template (3).
