Removing the speaker cover from the door trim panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP FROM THE DOOR TRIM PANEL .
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Carefully drill out all marked welding spots (arrows) and grind off if necessary.
- Release the speaker cover (1) at the detents (2) and remove.
