Fasten air conditioning compressor

- Check if centering sleeves (1)
are present on bearing bracket (2)
for the air conditioning compressor and check them for damage. Replace the centering sleeves where required.
- Position the air conditioning compressor (5) .
- Tighten down screws (4)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Air conditioning compressor to holder/engine M8 tightening torque 22 Nm - Connect connectors (3)
and lock.
The connector (3) must engage audibly.
- Place drive belt (1) on belt pulley (2) of air conditioning compressor (5) .
- Maintain the preload on belt tensioner (1) using a suitable socket wrench (3) .
- Remove the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390) (2)
from the belt tensioner.
- Loosen the belt tensioner (2)
counterclockwise using a suitable socket wrench (1)
