Remove instrument panel trim
Prerequisite
- The steering wheel is adjusted downwards all the way back.

- Release the bolts (1) below the glove compartment.
- Release the screws (2) in the glove compartment.
- Release the cable bracket (1) inwards from the dashboard trim.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) from the front passenger airbag.
- Release the connector (2) from the glove compartment.
- Unlock plug connection (1) in area of Central Information Display (CID) and disconnect it.
- Release vehicle wiring harness (2) from dashboard trim.
- Remove screws (arrows).

Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.

- Carefully feed out dashboard trim (1) to the rear. Feed out the remaining cables.
- Carefully continue to feed out dashboard trim (1) and remove it from the vehicle.
