Removing module bracket on the rear door

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP AT THE REAR DOOR .
• Refer to REMOVING REAR DOOR TRIM  .

• Secure the door window glass (1) when it is closed on top of the door frame with adhesive tape.
• Spread out the holder (2) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) until the door window glass (1) can be detached.
• Simultaneously, operate the power window to shift it down approximately 10 cm and thereby detach the holder (2) from the door window glass (1).

• Loosen screws (1).

• Unclip door wiring harness (1) from module bracket (3) and unlock and disconnect the plug connections.
• Open locks (2) and remove module bracket (3).

• Unclip door wiring harness (1) from module bracket (3) and unlock and disconnect the plug connections.
• Open locks (2) and remove module bracket (3).
