Removing module bracket on the rear door
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP AT THE REAR DOOR .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR DOOR TRIM .
- Secure the door window glass (1) when it is closed on top of the door frame with adhesive tape.
- Spread out the holder (2) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) until the door window glass (1) can be detached.
- Simultaneously, operate the power window to shift it down approximately 10 cm and thereby detach the holder (2) from the door window glass (1).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unclip door wiring harness (1) from module bracket (3) and unlock and disconnect the plug connections.
- Open locks (2) and remove module bracket (3).

- Unclip door wiring harness (1) from module bracket (3) and unlock and disconnect the plug connections.
- Open locks (2) and remove module bracket (3).
