Partially removing the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor

A damaged silicone surface can lead to malfunctioning of the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.

- Do not tap or damage the silicone-coated surface on the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.
- After loosening lock, wait approx. 30 min. at 20°C for silicone surface to relax.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release rain-light-solar-condensation sensor (2) on retaining spring (3). Press retaining spring (3) on both sides, insert screwdriver (4) in the side and lift the detent.
- A waiting period of 30 min. must be observed until the silicon surface has relaxed.
Do not detach rain-light-solar-condensation sensor (2) from the windshield yet.
