Installing the bracket for the DME control unit
- Be sure that the bracket (1) for the lower DDE control unit is correctly inserted into the mounts (2).
- Insert the bracket for the DME control unit.
- Secure the cable clips (2).
- Mount the connector (1) on the bracket for the DME control unit.
- Fasten cable clip (1) on the strut (2).
- Connect the connector (1) in direction of the arrow with the holder (2) for the DME control unit and lock it.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Position holder, (3) for the DME control unit.
- Guide in the coolant line (2) and install it.
- Lock holder (1).
- Install the bracket (2) for the DME control unit.
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Control unit bracket on the shock tower Hexagon screw tightening torque
8 Nm - Insert and install the integrated power supply module (PDM) (2).
- Make sure the locking mechanism (1) engages audibly.
The lock (1) must audibly engage.
- Feed in and install DME control unit (2).
- Ensure the locking mechanisms (1) engage correctly.
The locks (1) must engage audibly.
- Fasten the cable bracket (1) to the bracket (2).
- Fasten the cable clip (3).
- Guide in the coolant line (2) and install it.
- Lock holder (1).
- Fasten the cable clip (3).
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
The connector (2) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connectors (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connectors (1) must engage audibly.
