Before work is first performed on the DSCi brake (integrated brake), the web-based training "DSCi" should first be successfully completed. To do this, the web-based training "DSCi" must be started in your Learning Management System (TMSi).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Before removing the hydraulic unit, the vehicle battery must be disconnected without fail!
The vehicle battery must never be connected during a repair!
Otherwise a brake bleeding procedure must be carried out after the repair.

The vehicle battery may only be reconnected when the brake system is completely filled with brake fluid and vented!

Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR RIGHT ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT WIPER ARM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COWL COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING WIPER CONSOLE .
- Unfasten plug connections (1).
- Remove the cable clip (2).
- Disconnect plug connection (1).
- Unscrew the screw (1) on the rear of the expansion tank.
- Extract brake fluid out of the expansion tank as far as possible.
Catch escaping brake fluid.
- Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the expansion tank (2) upward.
