Installing the left hand seat

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components .
Scratches, surface damage .

NOTE: Description is for right component only. The procedure on the left side is identical.

CAUTION: Heavy component .
Heavy components can lead to injury or damage .

Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.

With the assistance of a second person, carefully lift the left hand seat (3) into the vehicle.
Connect plug connection (2) and lock.
Correctly position the cable bracket (1) and clip it in.
Correctly position the left hand seat (3).

Disconnecting all battery ground leads

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Seat rail to body
Screw	Tightening torque	42 Nm

Check the attachment points of the covers (1) and (3) for damage and replace the covers (1) and (3) if necessary.
Correctly position the cover (1) and clip it in within the marked area.
Correctly position the covers (3) and clip them in.

Clip in the emergency release (2).
Fold back the rear seat backrest (1) towards the rear.

Fold both rear seats forwards.
Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Seat rail to body
Screw	Tightening torque	42 Nm

Correctly position the covers (1) and (2) and clip them in
Fold both rear seats into their normal position.
