Installing Both Tailgate Hinges

• When replacing hinge:

  Install the hinge half (2) on the lower section of tailgate and tighten the screws (1).

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Lower section of tailgate to hinge
  Hexagon screw M8
  	tightening torque  19 Nm

• Join and tighten the screws (1).
• Place ball socket (2) on the ball hub on the tailgate hinge and engage using force.
• Check the clamp (3) is fitted correctly.

• Install the hinge half (2) and tighten the nuts (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Hinge of lower section of tailgate to body
  Combination hexagon nut M8
  	tightening torque  19 Nm

  NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
• Fold the insulation (1) to the side.
• Install seal plug (2).
