Remove Engine Mount

• Loosen welded connections in areas (1).
  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  For additional information see 4100... OPENING BONDED CONNECTIONS (ALL X5 MODELS, 2019-2022) .
• Release the self-tapping screws in area (2).
• Heat and release the bonded connection in area (2).
• Remove reinforcement (3).

• Mark and make the rough separating cut (1) according to the diagram. Do not damage aluminum spring support (2) in the process!

• Release the self-tapping screws in areas (1) and the rivet connectors in areas (2).
• Heat and release the bonded connections in areas (1) and (2).

  Do not damage the aluminum spring support in the process!

• Remove the engine mount section.

• Perform the rough separating cuts (2) as illustrated and separate the engine mount (3) in sections.
• Release the rivet connectors in areas (1),
• Heat and release the bonded connections in areas (1),

• Release the self-tapping screws and rivet connectors in area (1),
• Heat and release the bonded connection in area (1) and remove engine mount section (2).
