Removing illuminated sill trim on the rear door sill

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Bending of plastic components  .
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components  .

• Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
• Continue un-clipping the part without using the tool if possible.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Version A: 
• Lever out illuminated sill trim (1) with suitable tools from the detent (2) to the top.
• Disconnect plug connection and dismantle the illuminated sill trim (1).

• Lever out illuminated sill trim (1) with suitable tools from the detent (2) to the top.
• Disconnect plug connection and dismantle the illuminated sill trim (1).
