Installing illuminated front sill trim on the door sill

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Bending of plastic components  .
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components  .

• Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
• Continue un-clipping the part without using the tool if possible.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Check the detents (2) for damage, if necessary replace the illuminated sill trim (1).
• Mount the illuminated sill trim (1) and connect and lock the connector while doing so.
• Position the illuminated sill trim (1) and lock on the detentes (2).
