Remove the front axle completely with the engine and transmission
- Disconnect cable from battery earth lead
- Moving hood to service position
- Loading and unloading vehicle
- Suction the air conditioning
- Remove thrust field
- Removing the fan cowl with electric fan
- Removing A/C condenser
- Removing resonator
- Removing both wheel arch covers
- Draining coolant
- Remove expansion tank
- Disconnecting coolant hose from coolant radiator
- Disconnecting hot water hose from connection
- Disconnecting coolant hoses
- Disconnecting transmission oil line
- Remove E-box
- Disconnecting lines from air conditioning compressor
- Removing cover of steering assemblies, left and right
- Remove exhaust system
- Removing complete prop shaft
- Releasing lower steering shaft to steering gear
- Disconnecting EPS cable on front subframe
- Release fuel supply line
- Disconnecting purge air line
- Disconnecting positive battery cable in engine compartment
- Removing reinforcement strut on left and right
- Disconnecting grounding cable on transmission
- Removing the brake pads of both disc brakes at the front
- Loosening and tying up brake caliper, left and right
- Releasing wheel RPM sensor, right and left
Attention!
Coordinate determination always begins at the top .
Position engine assembly on table top A.
Position transmission on table top B.
Table top length is adjustable (see arrow).
Structure of table lift .
Position the mounting element with the mount (40) on the table top B for the transmission cross member at coordinates 1/3 and 3/7.
Position the mounting element with the mount (70) on the table top B for the transmission cross member at coordinates 3/5.
Position the mounting element with the mount (80) on the table top B under the transmission at coordinates 8/3 and 8/6.
Position mounting element with the mount (40) on the table top A for the front subframe at coordinates 2/2 and 2/7.
Position mount (10) on the table top A for the swivel bearing at coordinates 4/1 and 5/8.
Position mounting element with the mount (60) on the table top A for the front subframe at coordinates 7/2 and 7/7.
Attention!
Removal weight approx. 150 kg to 300 kg.
Check the payload of the vehicle and unload as needed.
Load front footwell with sandbags if necessary, approx. 100 kg.
Note safety instructions of table lift.
Position mounting elements with the mounts (60), front left and right, at the front subframe.
Position mounting elements with the mounts (40), rear left and right, at the front subframe.
Position mounting elements with the mounts (80) at the automatic transmission.
Position the mounting elements with the mounts (40) at the transmission cross member.
Position the mounting elements with the mounts (70) at the transmission cross member.
Attach the mount for the swivel bearing (1) to the brake disc with lug bolts (2).
Secure adjustment screw (3).
- Disassemble the front axle support
- Detach transmission cross member
- Drain lifting table slowly and ensure free movement of all components
