Installing the left Lambda oxygen sensor

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

- Tighten the left Lambda oxygen sensor (1) with the special tool 0 491 074 (11 7 020) .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
- Clip in the Lambda oxygen sensor cable in the area (1).
- Clip the cable (1) of the left Lambda oxygen sensor into the retaining clips (2).
- Insert connector (2) of Lambda oxygen sensor.
- Connect and lock the engine ventilation line.
The retaining clip (1) must engage audibly.
- Position the carrier plate (2).
- Tighten down screw (1).
