Removing the rear power distribution box

Preliminary work

Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
Refer to REMOVING THE FLAP IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON THE RIGHT .

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Fuses can become detached when unlocking the plug connections in the power distribution. Use suitable means to prevent the fuses from falling out.

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

Unlock the lower detents (1) and guide out the power distribution box (2).

Open the cover (1).
Loosen nut (2).
If applicable, loosen the cable tie on the positive battery cable (3).
Remove positive battery cable (3).
Unlock and disconnect all connectors.
Remove the power distribution (4).
