Installing The Front Door

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Attach door and secure it from falling shut.
- Tighten the screws (1) on both hinge elements.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Screw connection, hinge parts screw Tightening torque
27 Nm - Tighten screw (1) at doorstop.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Door stop to pillar screw Tightening torque
21 Nm - Connect connectors and press down locking mechanism (2).
Follow-up work
- Disconnecting all battery ground leads; Refer to 61 20 BATTERY .
