- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING SEAL FOR FRONT BONNET .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP LEFT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT , and REMOVING THE TOP RIGHT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING UPPER CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVE TOP AUTOMATIC AIR FLAP CONTROL .
- Remove the expanding rivet (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Release the screws (1) and carefully feed out and remove the bracket (2) from the headlight.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the front top cross connection (2).
