Remove Cover Housing

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE THE FUEL FILLER FLAP .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR RIGHT WHEEL .
• Refer to REMOVING REAR WHEEL ARCH COVER .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FUEL FILLER PIPE .

• Release the sealing lip (1) from the wheel well.

• Pierce the cover housing (1) in the highlighted areas (2) using a small screwdriver.

• Hold cover bowl under tension.
• Insert the screwdriver no more than 10 mm deep.
• Unlock the detents (6) in a sequence from (1) to (4) using a screwdriver (5).

• Turn and remove the cover housing from the side panel.

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Close fuel filler flap.
• Remove the cover housing.
