Installing The Left Front Side Panel

Further information is available.

• Install the side panel in the sequence shown with the help of a second person.
• Position side panel (1) on headlamp. When doing this, make sure that detent and guide (4) are in proper installation positions.
• Position side panel in the area of the A-pillar (2) and bring it into contact at the bottom (3).
• Screw in all screws on the side panel until it is just about still possible to shift the side panel.

• Adjust gap dimensions.
• Tighten down screws (1).

  	Tightening torque  8 Nm

• Open the front door.

  Pull the sealing (1) down slightly in the direction of the arrow.

• Tighten down screw (2).

  	Tightening torque  8 Nm

• Close front door
• Tighten down screws (1).

• Secure cable to side panel holder (1).
• Tighten down screw (2).

• Tighten down screws (1).

• Clip the bumper cover (2) upwards into the detents.
• Tighten down screws (1).

• Install the sound insulation (1).
