Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP LEFT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT and REMOVE THE TOP RIGHT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING UPPER CROSS CONNECTION .

- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .

- Loosen screw (1).
- Disengage the holder of the tank vent line (2).
- Place tank vent line to one side.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the holder (2) upwards.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Remove the cover of the positive battery cable (2) in an upwards direction.
- Unfasten nut (1).
- Remove the positive battery cable (1) and set it aside.
- Feed out and remove the alternator (2).
