Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP LEFT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT and REMOVE THE TOP RIGHT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING UPPER CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT-END STRUT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE INTAKE FILTER HOUSING ON THE LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT UNFILTERED-AIR DUCT .

- Unlock and disconnect the coolant line (1) as described in the following step.
- Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
- Place the coolant line (2) aside.
Unlocking coolant line flange
- Unlock the retaining clip (1) on the flange (2) of the coolant line with a suitable screwdriver (3) in an upwards direction.
- Detach flange (2) of coolant line backwards.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Remove the thermostat (2) .
