In order to guarantee the quality of the Driver Assistance functions in vehicles with concealed radar sensors, please read and comply with the following notes:
No labels may be attached in the radiation areas of the radar sensors.
The component may be painted if no radar sensors have been installed.
The following features can be used to identify whether radar sensors are installed on the vehicle:
Radar sensors are installed at the rear if the triangular warning light is located on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame).
Radar sensors are installed at the front and rear if the triangular warning light is located on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame) in conjunction with the optional equipment S5ATA or S5AUA.

- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (1).NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Loosen screw (1).NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Release wheel arch trim (1) in the area of the bumper cover from detents (3).
- Unclip wheel arch trim (1) from clip (2).NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Release the bumper covers from the detents in the side panel area.
- Press down snap-in lugs (1) and pull bumper cover (3) from guides (2).
- Continue to feed out the bumper cover (3) and unlock and disconnect all the plug connections.
- Remove the bumper cover (3).
