Removing the intake line in the front

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.

Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist if the vehicle hoist is handled incorrectly.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

Preliminary work

- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves when disconnecting the refrigerant line.
- Close the refrigerant lines with seal plugs.
- Loosen screw (1) sidewards from the wheel house.
- Remove the intake pipe (2) from the air conditioning compressor (3) and place aside.
- Unlatch the holder (1).
- Remove the intake line (2) out of the holder (1) and guide out below the wires (3).
- Release the screw (1) of the intake line (2).
- Guide out the intake line (1) entirely upwards and remove.
