Remove left and right output shaft
Remove left output shaft
- Position the aluminum drift (1) on the output shaft (2).
- Knock out the output shaft (2) from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (1).
- Release swivel bearing (1) out of special tool 2 413 317
on the upper wishbone.
Do not allow swivel bearing (1) to hang down from the brake hose.
- Guide out the output shaft (1) in the arrow direction and remove.
Secure the swivel bearing
- Fasten the swivel bearing (1) by using the special tool 2 413 317
to protect it from tilting outwards.
Swivel bearing (1) must not hang down from the brake hose.
Remove right output shaft
- Position the aluminum drift (2) on the output shaft (1).
- Knock out the output shaft (1) from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (2).
- Release the swivel bearing (1) from the special tool 2 413 317
on the upper wishbone.
- Pull the spring strut (1) slightly forwards in the driving direction.
- Guide out the output shaft (2) in the arrow direction and remove.
Secure the swivel bearing
- Fasten the swivel bearing (1) by using the special tool 2 413 317
to protect it from tilting outwards.
Swivel bearing (1) must not hang down from the brake hose.
