Fasten air conditioning compressor

Check the centering sleeves (1) on the bearing bracket (2) for the air conditioning compressor for damage and presence. Replace the centering sleeves where required.

Position the air conditioning compressor (5).

Tighten down screws (4).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Air conditioning compressor to holder/engine
M8	tightening torque	22 Nm

Connect connectors (3) and lock.
The connector (3) must engage audibly.
Place the drive belt (1) on the belt pulley (2) of the air conditioning compressor (5).
Ensure that the belt tensioner (1) is preloaded with a suitable socket wrench (3).
Remove the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390) (2) from the belt tensioner.

Loosen the belt tensioner (2) counterclockwise using a suitable socket wrench (1).

Lock the refrigerant firewall (1) with the latch mechanisms (arrows) at the support bush (2).

Install the refrigerant firewall (1) and insert in the marked area on the top at the manifold (2).
