Remove wiring harness section for the ignition system of cylinder bank 2

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE INTAKE FILTER HOUSING ON THE LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT INTAKE SILENCER BRACKET .
- Refer to REMOVING IGNITION COIL OF CYLINDER BANK 2 .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT UNFILTERED-AIR DUCT .
- Refer to REMOVING COVER FOR THE DME CONTROL UNIT ON LEFT .
- Unlock the locking mechanism (arrow) of the cover (1).
- Guide the cover (1) out of the control unit bracket (2) in the arrow direction and remove.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug (2).
- Unclip the wiring harness mounting (1) upwards.
- Unclip the wiring harness mounting (2) at the crosspiece of the cylinder head cover (1).
- Unclip wiring harness mountings (1).
- Put the transmission wiring harness (2) to one side.
- Unclip the sensor wiring harness in the areas (1).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug (2).
- Unclip wiring harness mounting (3).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug (2).
- Release the nut (3).
- Put the cable head (4) to one side.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug (2).
- Release the nut (3).
- Put the cable head (4) to one side.
- Unclip wiring harness mounting (5).
- Feed out and remove the wiring harness section for the ignition system.
