Installing intake camshaft sensor of cylinder bank 1

Checking the sealing ring on the camshaft position sensor 

Check 

• Check the O-ring (1) on the camshaft position sensor for damage.

Result 

» O-ring (1) damaged

Measure 

• Replace O-ring (1).

Parts:  O-ring

Result 

» O-ring (1) not damaged.

Measure 

• Continue the repair in the next step.

• Coat O-ring on the camshaft position sensor with motor oil.
• Position the intake camshaft sensor of cylinder bank 1 (2).
• Tighten down screw (1).

Camshaft position sensor
M6x16 screw	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Connect plug connection (3) and lock.
