Removing the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel on left (all equipment versions)

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE ROLLER COVER FOR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .
• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVE THE FLAP IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL ON THE LEFT/RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT OR RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMP .
• Refer to REMOVING ARMREST SIDE SECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING REAR ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
• Refer to REMOVING THE BOTTOM LEFT C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL (3RD ROW OF SEATS) .

Removing the left luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (without third-row seating) 

• Only for equipment specification without electrical roller cover for luggage compartment: 

  Loosen expanding rivet (1).

• Loosen expanding rivet (1).
• Remove the cover (2) and release the underlying bolt.
• Release the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (3) from the clip in the upper area.

• Version A: 
• Unlock available plug connections and disconnect.
• Detach the Bowden cable (1) on the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2).
• Feed out and remove the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2) toward the rear at the trunk lid lock.

• Version B: 
• Unlock available plug connections and disconnect.
• Detach the Bowden cable (1) on the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2).
• Feed out and remove the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2) toward the rear at the trunk lid lock.
