Remove bottom tailgate trim panel

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Unclip cover for trunk lid lock (1) at clips (2).
- Tear off and remove the rubber covers (3) from the tailgate trim panel.
The rubber covers (3) are destroyed during the removal and must be replaced.
- Release lower tailgate trim panel (1) at clips (2).
- Carefully feed lower tailgate trim panel (1) together with cover for trunk lid lock from trunk lid.
