Installing the airbag unit (except vehicles with M Sport steering wheel)

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
After replacing the airbag unit (M Sport steering wheel) or possibly converting the standard steering wheel and airbag unit on the M Sport steering wheel, a software update or a programming/coding via ISTA must be performed.
After replacing the airbag unit (M Sport steering wheel) or possibly converting the standard steering wheel and airbag unit on the M Sport steering wheel, a software update or a programming/coding via ISTA must be performed.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Press in the airbag unit (1) into the steering wheel with even pressure in the arrow direction.
- The airbag unit must be seen and heard engaging.
