Attaching the right and left output shaft onto the wheel bearing

NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.

Fasten the output shaft on the wheel bearing

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Installation notes for spur gearing must be observed without fail.

Replace the collar screw (1) and compression spring (2).
Parts: Collar screw and compression spring
Note installation position of compression spring (2).
Keep the collar screw (1) and the front gearings of the wheel bearing and the output shaft clean and free of grease.

Hand-tighten the collar screw (1) with the compression spring.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The front gearing of wheel bearing and driven shaft must be installed with a positive fit (tooth in tooth position).
Ensure positive locking by mutual twisting of the wheel bearing (1) and the output shaft (2).
Press brake pedal.
Tighten the collar screw.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Output shaft to wheel bearing
M16 Replace collar screw and spring.	Snug torque	210 Nm
M16 Replace collar screw and spring.	Angle of rotation	90°
