TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING TANK COVER ON LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CONNECTING SUPPORT FROM THE TUNNEL .

Component with heavy weight.

- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
If installed: Remove the right torsion strut

Driving without torsion strut is prohibited.

- Unfasten nut (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Thread the right torsion strut (3) out and remove.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Partially detach the cover panel.
- Version A (ribbon clamp)
Detach the ribbon clamp (1).
- Version B (V-ribbon clip)
Unfasten circlip (1).
- Loosen nut (1).
NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Unlock and release the plug connection (1).

- With the help of a support person, lower, guide out, and remove the exhaust system.
