- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Protect the gearshift lever against scratches.
- Unclip center console trim (1) starting at the back, upwards at the clamps (2) .
- Unlock the associated plug connections and disconnect.
- Guide out center console trim (1) at the gearshift lever and remove it.
