Remove right C-pillar trim panel left and right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

WARNING: Airbag unit. 
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries! 

• Before working on the airbag, disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
• Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

• All work on pyrotechnic parts may be carried out by technically experienced and appropriately trained personnel only.
• Replace any damaged part or ones that have been dropped.

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

• Unclip the cover (1) and release the screw under that.
• Unclip the C-pillar trim panel (2) with the clamps (3).
• Feed out the C-pillar trim panel (2) under the sealing lip of the door weather strip and remove.
