- Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR RIGHT ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE MOUNT OF THE HOOD SEAL ON LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING SUSPENSION STRUT BRACE .
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Refer to REMOVING LAMBDA OXYGEN SENSOR FOR THE CYLINDERS 4 TO 6 .

- Prepare the commercially available tool.
Number Description 1 1/2" torque wrench 2 Wrench socket set SW19 - Have a cleaning cloth at hand, since engine oil escapes when removing the chain tensioner (2).
- Release the chain tensioner (2) with standard tools (1).
- Thread the chain tensioner (1) out and remove.
