TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING TANK COVER ON LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to IF INSTALLED: REMOVING THE TORSION STRUTS ON THE RIGHT AND LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING CENTER STIFFENING PLATE .

CAUTION:
Component with heavy weight.

- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Loosen screw (1).NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the specified component(s) is/are installed.
- Disconnect the cables (1).
- Version B:
Release nuts (1).
- Release nut (2).
- Release nuts (1).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release nut (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release nut (2).
- With the help of a support person, lower, guide out, and remove the exhaust system (3).
