Removing footrest

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
• Refer to REMOVING THE SIDE TRIM PANEL IN THE FOOTWELL AT THE LEFT A-PILLAR .

• Footrest (1)  is bonded with the carpet.

  Detach footrest (1)  from carpet or cut off on adhesive.

• Remove cut off domes (1)  of the footrest (2)  from or behind the carpet to prevent a rattling noise.
