Remove the D-pillar trim panel
Preliminary work

- Refer to REMOVING COVER FROM SEAT BELT FINISHER STRIP .
- Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LOWER D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING COVER FOR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
- Have the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329)
ready.
- Loosen expanding rivet (1) .
- Loosen screws (2) .
- Place a suitable special tool between the sealing lip on the tailgate seal and the D-pillar trim panel (3) .
- Loosen D-pillar trim panel (3)
from the clip (4)
and from the clamps (5)
.
- Unclip D-pillar trim panel (1) from the clips (2) and remove.
