Installing cylinder head cover
- Replace gaskets (1) and (2).
Parts: Seals
- Make sure that the cylinder head cover (1) is correctly installed in the marked area on the high pressure pump bracket (2).
The cylinder head cover (1) must not tap the high pressure pump bracket (2) in the marked area.
- Position cylinder head cover.
- Make sure that the cylinder head cover does not tap the high pressure pump bracket!
- Tighten all screws in a sequence from (1) to (21).
TIGHTEN TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Clip in wiring harnesses (2) and (3) in the marked regions.
- Connect connector (1).
- Clip in wiring harness (2) in marked areas.
- Connect connector (1).
- Position the holder of the positive battery cable and tighten with the screw (5).

- Clip in wiring harness (4) in marked areas.
- Clip in the wiring harness (3) in the marked area.
- Correctly route the fuel supply line (2) and tighten with the screw (1).

- Connect connector (1) and attach to the wiring harness (2).

Detents, guides and mounting elements must not be damaged or missing.

- Clip the engine ventilation line (1) in.
Follow-up work
- Install both ACTUATORS .
- Prepare the INJECTORS for installation.
- Install the cylinders 4 to 6 INJECTORS .
- Install the cylinders 1 to 3 INJECTORS .
- PREPARE for the installation of the high pressure pump.
- Install HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
- Install the HIGH-PRESSURE LINE between the high-pressure rail and the high-pressure pump.
- Install FUEL DELIVERY LINE .
- Install the IGNITION COILS .
- Install the RESONATOR with the top clean air pipe.
- Install intake filter HOUSING .
- Install fan COWL .
- Install the rear top CROSS CONNECTION .
- Install front CROSS CONNECTION .
- Install left and right FRONT-END STRUT .
- Install the left and right hood gasket SEAL .
- Install the top left and right engine compartment COVER .
- Reconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
- Install the underneath second end PANEL .
- Install right sealing FRAME .
- Install rear ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Install the upper part COWL .
- Install left and right shock tower TENSION STRUT .
- Install windshield panel COVER .
- Install left and right WIPER ARM .
- Install the rear right engine compartment COVER .
- Install the rear left engine compartment COVER .
- Install the front hood rear SEAL .
- Install ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Install the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Take hood out of the SERVICE POSITION .
